BMW models, the system is generally compatible. However, MASK, CCC, and CIC use different LVDS port types. The wiring method and connection logic are the same — the only difference is the LVDS connector format. 8283 MASK installation instructions link here.

Note: The ami needs to be connected to the Audio Out instead of the Audio In
1. No Sound?:
1.1. Why is there no audio from the new Android system?

A. Please check the AUX-IN cord. Make sure it is plugged into the AUX-IN port on your car. Photo here.
B. And also you need to activate AUX-IN function. CD/Entertainment/External devices/External audio input (AUX front)/activate. Photo here.
Why does the Sirius/XM radio, original car computer info, and factory camera does not display? Why does the AUX-IN volume stuck on zero and is not adjustable?
Answer: Please check the fiber optics plug, you need to move it from the original connector to the new connector we provided. Photo here.
My car has a factory backup camera, why it does not display when reversing the car?
Answer: Please check the Settings/system setting/Rear camera type. Make sure the "Original camera" option is activated.
1.1: No Sound in “USB-only BMW EVO touch screen”:
1. Please check the attached picture. Make sure that the wires 3,4 and 5 are connected as shown in the picture.
2. Make sure 5 is plugged into the original USB audio input port.
3. Make sure the USB audio option is selected on the original menu.
4. Then, play the video on the new screen and check for sound through the video player app.

Still No Sound? Settings>System>AUX settings>Diselect "Automatically switch AUX".
Still No Sound? Does the FM radio produce sound when you press the "RADIO" button on the panel?

Please note that our product only replaces the monitor while retaining the original Mercedes radio/amplifier system. This means the original Mercedes radio/amplifier must be fully functional. If the original monitor is defective, you can replace it with our product. However, if the radio/amplifier itself is faulty, you will need to have it repaired or replaced by your local Mercedes dealer.
If radio stations do not produce any sound, it indicates an issue with the Mercedes head unit, not the screen.
BMW sound issue: I had to crank the AUX volume to MAX, and set the Android Volume to between 20 - 25. Any higher would distort the audio.
Question: 8224 BMW Z4 E89: Just installed the stereo, unfortunately we are hearing a thumping like a heartbeat from the speakers and the red light in the back of the stock stereo flashes at the same time. I have watched a hundred videos on what the problem could be, do you have any thoughts?
Answer: You need to move the fiber optic cable from the original connector to the aftermarket connector we provided.
2. BMW Screen flickers in the original menu:
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Car Display>Try all options. One of them should work.
Audi 1004-A4 Paramter error, please match the parameters? Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Vehicle display>Try every option. One of them should fix the display issue.
3. Mercedes-Benz screen flickers in the original menu:
The original screen does display incorrectly: please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Car Display>Try all options. One of them should work.
Why does the original Mercedes-Benz screen display incorrectly?
Answer: Please check Settings/Factory/input password 190627/Car Display, then select the correct resolution settings to match your car. For example, if the original screen on your car has a small screen, then please select 400*240, if the original screen is big, please select 800*480.
4337: Please check Settings>Factory>input password 190627>Car Display>Try all options. One of them should fix the display issue.
7089 BMWX5 E70 6.5” CIC: After enter the factory settings, please check "BMW model setting>Resolution>Select:CIC_small(6.5,half).
4. Reset/Restart(RST) Pinhole.
A "pinhole reset" is a method to reboot or reset a device by pressing a tiny, recessed button using a paperclip or similar tool.
Use a paper clip, toothpick, SIM eject tool, or similar to click on the RST hole.

2343 BMW screen issue photo here.: 1. Please check the attached picture. Insert a paper clip or a SIM-eject tool into the cavity of the "Reboot" and release it within 1 second to reboot the radio. Then, try again. 2. If it does not fix the issue, please take photo show me the current firmware version when it is working. We may send you new software to update it.
5: DashCam (DVR):
Where does the USB from the dashcam plug into? Does it go into the plug marked OTG-USB?

BMW/Mercedes/Audi screens: Install from the memory of the system. ESfileExplorer>HomePage>USB_HomePage>DVR>INstall>Install>Done.
Go to the main menu, and click the app called “Traffic_Safety_Guard”. Allow, Allow, Allow, TFT card Format, click Yes.

6. Factory Setting Passwords:
Please DO NOT change any settings in the factory mode if you don’t know the location. The radio may not work properly if the settings do not match the car. That's why the factory setting is password-protected.

8. Logo:
Change logo in Mercedes Benz 4323: 1. Please download this file to a USB thumb drive(format it as fat32 through PC before use): Not larger than 64 GB. Use a PC and not a MAC it’s Important. click here to download

Please launch the "File Manager" app and check if you can see the logo picture on the screen. If not, the radio does not detect the USB thumb drive. The USB thumb drive may have an issue, or the format is not supported. Please try another 4GB/8GB/16GB/32GB USB thumb drive and format it as fat32 through a PC before use. It may not read the 64GB/128GB USB thumb drive, which was connected to MAC before.
If you can see the logo picture but won't be able to set it as the start logo. Maybe the picture format is not supported, please send us the picture through email, and we will correct the format and send it back to you. Please watch the video here: Here
Mercedes-Benz HL-8801: Please download the attached "Mercedes.bmp" to a USB thumb drive, check Settings/CAR/Factory Settings/input password 318/LOGO/customs/select the Mercedes logo photo from the USB thumb drive, and click APPLY/EXIT. Logo link here.
9. NetFlix and Youtube:
Q: Why can’t I download Netflix and YouTube?
Step 1. Please search and download the APK installation files you want through this website: https://apkpure.com/
Step 2. Transfer the APK files to a USB thumb drive.

10. BMW mic not working well:
1. Please check Settings>Factory>input password 070305>MIC Gain>Adjust it to higher or lower. Check if it helps.
2. Can you take a photo and show me the plug of the external microphone you bought? We want to check if it is compatible with the unit.
3. If you want to use the original mic, you can pair your iPhone with the original BMW Bluetooth. So you can listen to music/navigation through carplay and make phone calls through BMW Bluetooth.
11. OBDII:
Q: How to connect the OBD2 dongle:
OBDII: 1. Connect the OBD2 adapter to the OBD port under the steering wheel. 2. Turn on the Wi-Fi of 8815 and connect it to the "OBD" Wi-Fi signal. 3. Open the "Torque" app to use. Note that Wi-Fi OBD and wireless carplay do not work simultaneously because the radio only connects to one device through Wi-Fi.

13. Apple Carplay/Android auto:
Update Zlink in Mercedes Audi BMW Screens: Uninstall then Launch the "APKInstaller" app, then find the "CarplayZlink.apk" and install it.
After you have installed the ZLINK app, please press the "restart" button to restart the system or power off the car and lock the door, wait for 10 minutes for restarting.
This method will only reinstall the existing ZLINK app, if want to upgrade the ZLINK app, then it needs to upgrade the whole system’s firmware.

Q. Wireless carplay not connected:
Step 1. Please go to iPhone>settings> Bluetooth, select all the paired devices, and remove/forget them.
Step 2. There is a "RES" button on the DVD panel. Please insert a paper clip or a SIM-eject tool into the hole of the "RES" button and release it within 1 second to reboot the radio. Start the "ZINK" app after the radio reboot and pair your iPhone with the radio upgrade's Bluetooth again.
Wired Carplay: The USB cable with the "carplay" label is used for wired carplay. Please use a genuine Apple cable.

14. BMW CCC/CIC switching:
How do I switch the new Android system to the original BMW CCC/CIC interface?
Answer: Please tap the “Car-info” icon on the home screen OR long-press (3 seconds) MENU button on iDrive to switch to original CCC/CIC interface.
How do I switch the original BMW CCC/CIC interface to the new Android system?
Answer: Please tap the screen or long-press (3 seconds) the MENU button on the iDrive.
Why it shows “No signal” when tap “Car-info” or switching back to original BMW interface?
Answer: Please check the LVDS port (photo here). Make sure you connect the LVDS plug (removed from the OEM screen) to the new screen.
15. Audi (1004-A4, AD1214) Factory menu not accessable:
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Vehicle>Car Without OEM Monitor>Disselect.
How to reset? Please check Settings>System info>Reset. Reset the unit to factory settings and check again.
1. Please check the attached video. Select AMC4L.
2. Power off the car and lock the door. Wait 10 minutes. Start the car. Then check again.

17. BMW camera not switching to reverse mode.
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 1314>Vehicle>Gear Selection> Try Gear Type 1 and 2 and 3.
BMW camera flickers in reverse even in the Parking gear. Please check in the factory settings, password 070305 find AHD and switch it to Automatic.
18. BMW SiriusXM Radio:
On BMW vehicles, the factory head unit can output only one audio source at a time. The Sirius radio and the AUX-IN port share the same audio pathway, so they cannot operate simultaneously.
When you use the aftermarket CarPlay/Android Auto system, all audio is transmitted through the AUX-IN port. This requires the head unit to switch to AUX mode, which automatically disables the Sirius radio. This limitation comes from the original BMW audio system design.
Therefore, it's not possible to have Sirius radio and CarPlay/Google Maps voice instructions playing at the same time. To hear navigation prompts from Google Maps, please switch the audio source to AUX-IN (CarPlay).
Alternatively, you can download the SiriusXM app on your iPhone and listen to Sirius through CarPlay.
