1) The infotainmenet screen always shuts off for 8 seconds whenever I use the turn signal, left or right.
Is there a fix for this?
= please check camera setting menu and make sure starting front view/starting steering view options are set to 0.
starting front view means aftermarket front camera; starting steering view means aftermarket right/left side camera.
since the car do not have such cameras but customer turn on the function, it will get black screen then.
2) There is no sound whenever I'm using google maps for navigation despite the sound option being turn to on.
= if you use aux audio, please check mobile- setting- bluetooth, make sure mobile bluetooth are disconnected from Alfa bluetooth.
If aux audio selected, mobile bluetooth connect to car bluetooth, it means two audio channel works and mix, and it cause navigation/siri/calling no sound sometimes.
If the car is 6 series and has two voltage model, two of them use different module. there are 4 pin in joystick, need to use multimeter to check four wire on joystick. Pictures below
The carplay screen disappears when you turn the right or left signal on. It seems a 360° camera is selected in the settings of the carplay menu.
Answer: Please access the System>Factory Mode>Advance setting>input password 688668>MCU setup>Disselect A5. Confirm and check again.
