An aftermarket navigation system is specially designed to replace Mercedes-Benz SL-Class(R230) factory radio. It has the same harness and plug as the original radio. Attention: 
1. If your vehicle equips with BOSE fiber optics amplifier audio system, then you also need to buy our extra extension cable to bypass the BOSE fiber optics amplifier system, otherwise there will be no audio after installing our radio. This cable is not plugged and play, you need to splice and rewire the speaker audio wires, and after you have installed the extension cable, there will be only four car speakers working. Please acknowledge this before placing the order. Or you can install an aftermarket amplifier to replace the original BOSE fiber optics amplifier to retain all the speakers will work.

2. The FM/AM reception maybe not be as good as the original Mercedes-Benz radio on SL, if you are concerned about the FM/AM, please consider this issue before placing the order.
