I have a Bose system, will it work? What is the MOST adapter for?
Yes. The MOST adapter is used for the BOSE system.
I have the original DAB, can I use the same antenna?
Yes.
And do I need to go to Porsche to set up anything, or is it Plug&Play?
No need. It will be Plug and play.
Do I lose any function?
No. if there is a factory DAB the antenna is compatible, we will include a DAB+ dongle.
Does the features of the car integrate automatically or does it require programming?
You do not need to program the car. plug-and-play.
Steering wheel Controls - Will these work plug and play?
Yes.
Bluetooth Microphone - Can I use my car's original microphone or do I need to add a microphone?
Our radio comes with an external microphone. It does not use the original microphone.
Rearview Camera with moving lines - Will the car's original camera with the lines that move with the steering wheel still show up?
Yes.
How about the parking sensors?
It will still work as before.
Gauge cluster display screen - Right now it shows the map, track that's playing, and phone that's connected on the gauge cluster screen. Will that still show up?
The instrument cluster will not show any information from the new radio.
USB port - Will I still be able to use the car's original USB port that is located in the center console storage compartment?
Yes.
Is it compatible with the Burmester sound system? Will the sound quality degrade?
The sound quality will be the same as the original. Our system does not use AUX for the sound medium. Please add a fiber optic MOST adapter from the options to retain the Burmester amplifier.
